Mia Avdagić

Mia Avdagić is born and raised in Sarajevo; 17th April 1999. Mia is soon to be graduated at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo - Department of Production and Management in field of Culture and Performing Arts. Mia is part of Sarajevo Film Festival team; previously worked as Hospitality Officer, then as Competition Programme Coordinator. Currently is on the position as Talents Sarajevo Project Coordinator - creating and monitoring of TS budget; preparing of applications, monitoring the process of applying, preparing statistics, communicating with applicants; coordinating selection; communicating with mentors; communicating with the hospitality department for the purpose of travel organization and accommodation of participants and mentors; working on applications for financing according to the financing plan for Talents Sarajevo throughout the year; coordinating of TS staff; organizing of space for maintaining TS programs; communicating with the Berlinale Talents IT team regarding the setting up of online talent profiles, preparing of photos of talents for the TS catalog, preparing of info sheets for participants; preparing of the work report upon completion of the program; working with CineLink team on applications and doing reports for CineLink. She is also part of Ponta Lopud Film Festival as Masterclass Coordinator. She has produced several theatrical plays and short films. She is fluent in English and Arabic; basic level of German.
