Arman Fatić was born in Sarajevo on August 13, 1992. In December 2022, he obtained the title of graduate philosopher from the University of Ljubljana. During his studies, he was a guest at the Alpen Adria University Klagenfurt (2018) and the University of Vienna (2021). He has been engaged in film criticism and journalism since 2016, and since 2018 he has been working as a freelancer for film festivals and media in the region.

He started cooperation with the Sarajevo Film Festival in 2018, working on the preparation of texts for the festival's "Daily". In the past five editions of the festival, he went through all aspects of the work of the press department (communication and coordination of festival guests and media representatives, assistance with the organization and coordination of press hours and press conferences, promotion of the festival in the media and other accompanying activities) to the position of coordinator of the press department, which he held at the 28th edition of the festival. As editor-in-chief of the Duart platform (2019/2023), he worked on selecting topics and editing texts by fellow critics and covered the Berlinale, Venice and Cannes Film Festivals with reviews, interviews and press reports. In the distribution company Taskovski Films (2020/2021), he interned and worked in the positions of coordination of acquisitions and promotion of films.

He specializes in the field of public relations and media coordination while showing great interest in the acquisition and selection of films, with a special focus on new trends in the film industry and LGBTIIQ+ and feminist themes in Southeastern European production. He speaks English fluently and has basic knowledge of Slovenian and German. He lives between Sarajevo - Zagreb - Ljubljana.
